Baptism is open to all ages, for infants and young children who are unable to speak for themselves the responsibility for their faith and life falls on parents and god parents until they can affirm their faith at confirmation.
We understand that sitting still for long times is difficult (at any age) and the sound of children moving, laughing, crying or just being in worship is joyful.
As The Right Rev. Paul V Marshall (Diocese of Bethlehem) often said "If the sound of children in church upsets you, then heaven is going to be hell."

Yes. If you are baptized, you are welcome to receive communion in The Episcopal Church.
We use wafers and wine as the elements. We offer gluten-free wafers if you need them. You do not need to drink wine if you cannot consume alcohol for any reason. You can receive it in one kind, and the sacrament is valid.
You can still come forward for a blessing simply by crossing your arms in front of your chest as an indication that this is what you desire.
There is nothing to keep you from being baptized, unless you have already been baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We baptize people of all ages, genders, sexual orientations and identities in The Episcopal Church.
If this is what you desire for your self or your child please contact the priest for more information about the process.
If you are interested in the sacrament of marriage please contact the priest to discuss requirements and potential dates.
