What is going on with the ribbons?
On June 9, 2025 St John's as well as many Christians around the world celebrate the Feast of Pentecost- when the disciples received the gift of the Holy Spirit as their advocate and sustainer. We continue this tradition of remembering that God is present in our lives and in the lives of all Creation by surrounding our property with the names of those who inspired us and those who we hope we have like wise inspire. These are our ancestors and descendants.
We invite anyone who would like to add their own spirit ribbons to the gate to do so. For more information / instructions click the image. If the supply or ribbons run out contact the office and we will replace the stock.

We will gather together for a festive Eucharist on Sunday, June 29, to celebrate our patron saint John the Baptist's birth, recognize our musicians, and prepare for the summer season to begin.
