Giving to the Church is a spiritual practice rooted in the Jewish tradition of offering the first fruits of harvest to God, this has grown into an opportunity to offer to God the things that are God's and to give thanks for God's blessings in our lives.
We invite folks to sponsor altar flowers for Sunday. Consider giving flowers to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or other important event in your life. Or you can give in honor or memory of loved ones.
Episcopal Church Women -
The women of the parish will occasionally take a collection for various events and programs in the community. Mostly the ECW supports projects geared towards women and children.
Saint John's has the largest and most versatile pipe organ in Salem County, a three-manual, 30 rank organ built by Kimball in 1937, modified and enlarged in 1967, and still maintained by Jacob Gerger & Sons. This fund is used for repairs and maintenance.
Choose this option if you are making a gift in honor or memory of a parishioner, friend, family member or loved one.
St John's participates in an annual project to fill back packs for Salem Middle School Students. The cost for a fully stocked back pack is $25.00, and you can sponsor one by choosing this option
Through out the year there are opportunities to employ professional musicians and cantors for various events. If you would like to contribute towards these opportunities to support worship with music.
For the Festivals of Christmas and Easter we order Poinsettias and Easter Lilies repectively. If you would like to purchase either of these flowers in honor, memory or celebration of an individual or event please do so here.
If you would like make a donation for a special service- Evensong, Christmas Eve, Holy Week Services, or other special liturgies donations should be made here.
Through out the year the Outreach/ Service Committee will occasionally ask for support for various events and projects as presented to the congregation through our Deacon. If you would like to pay for or donate towards these missions please do so here.
